All excellent points. Like you said, just because she wasn't convicted doesn't mean she's not guilty, and she'll have to face justice sometime, if not in this world, then in the next. Thanks for your comments!

Jimmy, Good job of interpreting all this nonsense. Just wish it wasn't at the expense of a two year old innocent girl. I've always said that there is always three sides to every story — 1, his side; 2, her side; and 3, the truth. Somewhere in all this evidence was the truth. And given that there were several levels of guilt that could have been handed down by the jury — who would have thought that "not guilty!" was really an option? Well, even as I have heard so many people complain in shock at the verdict handed down, I have not once heard anyone say to me, "Well, I never thought she was guilty in the first place. I believe that she was set up."

I have a theory. Probably the same reason that President Obama was elected. Deceived by the slogan, "Change we can believe in!" There are aspects in many of the gifts that the Holy Spirit gives to some Christians where there is discernment, knowing and seeing the truth, even through the smoke and fog of lies and criticism. And because we live in a sinful world, and of most certainty that not many of the jury were not Christians, then there was no discernment of the Holy Spirit to guide them.

As I have heard my boss say on many occassions, "Ray Charles could see that!" Maybe she wasn't guilty of first degree murder, she is at least guilty of child endangerment. Anyone who has even had a half decent mother could see that she was guilty. BUT, guilty on four counts of lying to the police, to say the least, is IRONIC. The question that really needs to be answered is, has she told the truth at all about her daughters death? Don't think so!

JImmy, loved your thoughts. Sharp and well thought out. Thanks for sharing.
